Black Betty is a DJ from her hometown Manchester. She has a strong passion for many genres of music and decided to use this force and get behind the decks. Black Betty specialises in House music with many influxes + influences across all genres, meaning you are likely to find tribal percussive, acid synths, disco melodies and techno beats in her sets. She definitely captivated the crowd as they joined her on a musical journey.
Currently, Black Betty holds two residencies for Manchester Brand's "Underestimated" and "RebeccaNeverBecky" and also co-founded her event "Hallucination". She continues to make statements in her city and has graced the decks at most of Manchester's well-known venues, as well as appearances at District Bar Leeds and Void Wigan.
When Black Betty is not playing in clubs, she has studied to grow her knowledge and skills. She completed the Lisa Lashes course and started her Music Production and Live Sound degree in September 2020.
Black Betty has also started producing her own tracks and is working hard behind the scenes to create something mind-blowing.
